chamfers Unigraphics
You can create chamfers through one of three methods: Symmetric Offsets, Asymmetric Offsets, and Offset and Angle.
These methods are reliable for simple cross sections of faces consisting of straight lines.
For faces that are more complex in shape, you can use the Offset Faces and Trim option. This option extends, if necessary, each offset surface that is used to trim the original surfaces that make up the defining edge. The chamfer surface is the surface that spans the new edges.
Selection Intent is available during edge selection.
All selected edges must belong to the same body, and can be of any curve type.
