Plane from unigraphics
Practical Unigraphics is to make Modeling for Engineers.
You can use the field datum / plane as a tool in creating other features,
such as cylinders, cones, balls, etc.
Datum plane is also valuable in creating features at an angle other than the normal face of a solid target.
You can create two types of datum planes: the relative and fixed.
You can let the software to conclude the best method to use when creating a datum plane,
based on objects that you select.
1. Begin datum plane allegedly by selecting one or more curves, edges, faces, datum planes, planes, points, or Datum csys components that will be the basis of the new datum. Set the Selection Type filter on the toolbar to help you select only objects that you want.
